To be eligible for these programs, you must:

  • be a DC resident at least 12 consecutive months prior to the current academic year and continue residency throughout college (except for DC Adoption Scholarship recipients);
  • have a high school diploma or the equivalent;
  • be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an eligible program of study pursuing at least half time a first undergraduate degree (professional or graduate-level degree candidates are not eligible);
  • meet and maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the college; and
  • not be in default status with federal student loans.

If you submit the DC OneApp and are eligible for one or more of these programs, OSSE will notify by you by mail or e-mail.
